A Study On Governmental Functions On Traditional Chinese Medicine Health Tourism Development In South-east Gansu Province

With the upsurge of culture and health tourism popularity,Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)cultural tourism is facing a great development prospective and has been indentified as a sunrise industry.Gansu is a province of deep TCM cultural background and TCM cultural health tourism development is of great significance for the economic development of Gansu Province.What system-mechanics the local government should take to get the health tourism prosperous,has become a new topic.The essay analyses the governmental functional situation by focusing on the TCM health tourism development in South-east Gansu Province.It aims to explore what measures the government should take to play a positive role to boost the TCM health tourism.The studies find some problems of the government functions to drive the TCM health tourism development,which consists of excessively concentrated functions,unbalance between professional administration and macro-adjustment,discrepancy between tourism resources management and tourism industry etc.The essay summarizes that the government should boost the TCM health industry by improving macro-adjustment,increasing supervision and coordination,administration innovation,scientific planning and increasing investment.
