The research method of using unearthed texts to correct classics has been called "Xin Zheng(??,which means a new proof method)" by some scholars. We believe that the newness of the Xin Zheng lies in the new materials to be used, and based on this understanding, this article uses ancient and modern scholars to use ancient books, ancient notes, ancient manuscripts, bronze and stone characters, oracle bone inscriptions, the research methods of criticizing and reading books from the scriptures and other unearthed texts are integrated into the category of Xin Zheng. The research results of Xin Zheng often provide us with texts and interpretations that are closer to the original purpose of ancient books, and it is necessary to integrate them into the collation, punctuation, annotation and translation of ancient books. However,in the pre-Qin and Qin-Han ancient book revision work, the mainstream viewpoints are often exclusive, and sometimes the new evidence that is worthy of attention can not enter the public's vision. This article discusses the phenomenon of neglecting the existing new evidence in the pre-Qin,Qin and Han ancient book collation, punctuation, annotation and translation through examples and inductive methods, and link up some results of Xin Zheng that may not be easily noticeable with the relevant classics, and hope to be helpful for annotating ancient books.
