Next-generation network is based on 5G technology.The network service scope needs to be improved in more dimensions and finer granularity.Massive IoT terminals provide multi-level services in a more flexible and reliable way on 5G core network access,cloud data centers,backbone networks,virtualized network infrastructure evolution,etc.Driven by upper-layer applications,the network needs to become a platform more than ever.SRv6 is the inheritance and development of existing network technologies.It presents a smooth transition from existing network infrastructure to the next-generation network infrastructure.Network virtualization shows unique advantages on L2VPN/L3VPN implementation,network node and link protection,load balancing and traffic engineering.This thesis mainly introduce an end-to-end fast rerouting mechanism based on SRv6.The mechanism mainly uses SRv6 technology to configure backup nodes for network nodes,pre-calculate backup links and add it to the forwarding table.When a network node or link fails,the SRv6 fast rerouting mechanism can quickly switch the traffic to the backup link before the control plane route converges,ensuring that the traffic is not interrupted,thereby achieving the purpose of protecting the traffic and interrupting services.The time is controlled in a small period.The reliability of the SRv6 network is greatly improved,and the smooth transition of business data is guaranteed.This thesis is mainly about the design and implementation of an end-to-end fast rerouting mechanism based on SRv6.First of all,it introduces the current research on SRv6 and FRR.Secondly,it analysises the requirements and design and implement the whole system.Thirdly,the system is divided into several functions including configuring the Mirror Sid,deleting the Mirror Sid,subscripting to the Mirror Sid and generating the low-priority routing source,Mirror FRR and the micro-loop-avoidance label stack.All of these functions have been well implemented and tested.Finally,we do our prospect on the future development of fast rerouting mechanism based on SRv6.
