With the development of Internet technology,as one of its products,social media has opened a new way of life for millions of users,such as twitter or instgram abroad,or micro blog or wechat in China.In the form of technical empowerment,network social media enables users to construct collective emotions or seek personal identity on the Internet.As Negroponte put forward the concept of "digital existence" at the end of last century,social media has become an indispensable part of the daily life of many users.From another point of view,social media itself is not only a manifestation of technology,but also a reflection of power relations.With the rise of information capitalism and its penetration into all aspects of the Internet,the information dissemination form of social media has actually reflected the relevant ideology.For example,UGC is not only a functional product,but also a reflection of the power relations between the users as producers of information products and the platform to occupy the value of related information products for free.How does the power relationship between users and capital in social media reflect the ideology of information capitalism? In other words,why are users alienated into cheap or even free "labor" under this kind of power relationship,and how does the platform occupy the labor achievements of users free of charge to realize their exploitation? This paper will focus on the above issues.Based on the theory of "content commoditization","audience commoditization" and "labor commoditization" put forward by Vincent Mosco,a Canadian scholar of communication political economics,this paper takes part of the functions of sina Weibo and "Xiaomi mobile phone" enterprise Weibo as the research object,and uses the methods of observation and content analysis to analyze It analyzes the three "commercialization",the related technical functions of microblog platform,and the essence of user exploitation.
