With the introduction of 5G base station,cloud computing and data center,the optical fiber technology not only put forward the demand of quantity,but also requires the development of optical fiber technology to meet the needs of new applications.Fiber equipment technology is the cornerstone of optical fiber technology,in which plasma equipment technology can realize the development of a variety of large-capacity new optical fiber technology,with a wide range of application prospects and significant research value.This paper is a study of microwave plasma technology of new optical fiber technology,the main results are as follows:(1)Explain in detail the four methods of optical fiber preform manufacturing,compare the advantages and disadvantages of these four methods,analyze the position of PCVD technology in China's optical fiber manufacturing industry,and analyze and summarize the current PCVD technology of China's optical fiber manufacturing company.Research and improvement of the upper plasma microwave system device.(2)The key points in microwave plasma technology are analyzed,mainly through two aspects,first of all,from the consideration on the microcosmic,mainly study the basic characteristic of the plasma and the mechanism of plasma chemical reaction,and then the consideration on the macroscopic,raises the microwave plasma device,mainly introduced microwave plasma device in the rectangular waveguide and the microwave cavity.(3)Through the relevant simulation software,the simulation of the waveguide and microwave resonant cavity is completed,and through the comparison of the relevant parameters,the best model of the waveguide and microwave resonant cavity is obtained,and the original waveguide and microwave resonant cavity is developed according to the model.(4)By replacing the original waveguide and resonance cavity,the manufacture of optical fiber precast rods and fiber optics was completed,and through the relevant tests,including the cross-section refractive index test of fiber precast rods,the geometric characteristics of optical fiber sands and the optical characteristics of optical fiber tests,the design of microwave system devices was verified to have a good feasibility,It has certain economic value and development prospects.
