Analysis Of Regional Culture Display In Xuancheng Museum

Museum,as a social institution that shows the public the witness of human activities and natural environment,bears a heavy responsibility in cultural construction.In particular,local museums play an irreplaceable role in displaying local culture.They must show the characteristics of regional culture and highlight its cultural connotation.Xuancheng City is located in the southeast of Anhui Province and has a long history.Xuancheng bronze ware,Xuanzhou kiln porcelain,folk cultural relics,Xuancheng dialect,Xuancheng celebrities,etc.constitute a rich regional culture.Xuancheng Museum was established on the basis of Xuancheng's history and culture,and is responsible for displaying Xuancheng's history and culture.Xuancheng Museum should give full play to the role of publicity window,actively display regional culture,protect and display the characteristics of regional culture,at the same time,it can better play the social education function,so that the museum can better integrate into social development.This paper mainly studies the exhibition of regional culture in Xuancheng Museum,mainly using the methods of literature research,field investigation and interdisciplinary research.Firstly,the main contents of Xuancheng's regional culture are summarized,including material culture and non-material culture,in which historical and cultural celebrities of Xuancheng are separately described.Secondly,it analyzes the present situation of the exhibition of regional culture in Xuancheng Museum,mainly discussing the exhibition of regional culture in several aspects such as museum exhibition,public activities and cultural products.Based on the analysis of the present situation of the exhibition of regional culture in Xuancheng Museum,this paper points out some problems: the exhibition of characteristic regional culture in the museum is not sufficient;The connotation of cultural relics in permanent exhibitions is not fully explored;Public activities and museum creative products are deficient in displaying regional culture.Finally,some thoughts are put forward to solve the above problems: museums should increase the display of regional culture such as dialect culture and folk culture;Make full use of special exhibitions to highlight the culture of Xuancheng celebrities and the four treasures of literary houses.Increase the background knowledge of cultural relics,Enrich the Connotation of Permanent Exhibition Cultural Relics,and display the value of cultural relics;At the same time,strengthen the exhibition of intangible cultural heritage in Xuancheng city;Flexible use of temporary exhibitions and mobile exhibitions to enrich the display of regional culture;The introduction of special interpretation systems and modern scientific and technological means will broaden the channels for displaying regional culture.I hope this article can provide some references for the promotion of Xuancheng Museum and other museums to display regional culture.
