Microwave power divider is an important passive component in wireless communi-cation system.With the development of the new generation of wireless communication systems,power dividers are not only need to meet the traditional basic function,but also required to be small size,reconfigurable,dual-band or even multi-band operation.Com-pared with traditional power dividers,reconfigurable power dividers have the advantage that the electric parameters can be adjusted in real time.And compared with the traditional power divider,dual-band and multi-band power dividers have wider frequency coverage that can improve integration level of system.In this paper,the researches of microwave power dividers are mainly based on FGMSL.The advantages of FGMSL are used to ex-plore the design of phase reconfigurable power divider and dual-band power divider.The main contents and contributions of this dissertation are summarized as follows:1.The design method of wideband phase reconfigurable power divider has been stud-ied.Bandwidth extending and the equivalent circuit of each state are explained.Through error analysis,the drawback in the preliminary design are discovered.The corresponding solutions are given.In the optimized design,a wideband reconfigurable phase inverter based on FGMSL is proposed.The inverter is integrated with a wide-band power divider to build a phase reconfigurable power divider.The effect of parameters of the recon-figurable phase inverter on circuit performance is fully considered.The simulated and measured results can effectively prove the reliability of the method.2.A new design of dual-band power divider has been proposed.The power divider can realize high frequency ratio,while the power dividing ratio of each passband can be independently controlled.Through even-odd mode analysis of the theoretical circuit and formula derivation,detailed design equations and two design examples are given.After discussion of the circuit parameters,the range of frequency ratio and power dividing ratio of the circuit are studied.An example is given to illustrate how to optimal circuit performances when there are more than one solutions.Next,the method of extending the achievable characteristic impedance range of the phase inverter is studied,and the method is combined in the design of dual-band power dividers.Finally,two dual-band power dividers are successfully synthesized,measured to verify the method.Compared with relavant researches,the phase reconfigurable power divider proposed in this paper greatly improves its bandwidth,and the proposed dual-band power divider can achieve unequal power-division while greatly expands its realized frequency ratio range.This provides new design methods and ideas for phase reconfigurable power di-viders and dual-band power dividers.It can also provide better circuit performance for modern and future reconfigurable,multi-band communication systems.
