With the rapid development of wireless communication technology,the daily life and production operations of humans in modern society have become more and more convenient.Wireless communication technology has been inseparable from the development of human society.The electromagnetic wavelength has long been the main carrier of wireless communication,and the electromagnetic spectrum resource has been a very precious and scarce resource in wireless communication systems.In recent years,the communication field has gradually invested its research into higher frequency band communication transmission technologies,especially the millimeter-wave band with higher frequency,wider frequency band,shorter wavelength,and stronger confidentiality.It is hoped to develop greater channel capacity and transmission rate,and has better anti-interference ability.This article studies exactly the receiver front-end system used in millimeter-wave communication.The research content comes from the scientific research project.The main purpose is to design and implement a U-band millimeter-wave monitoring receiver front-end circuit for the U-band designated monitoring frequency band signals.Scanning and receiving,down-converting output to intermediate frequency for corresponding digital demodulation processing,as the front-end work of the monitoring and receiving system platform as a whole,used in space communication.The research method of this paper is to first combine the theoretical analysis design scheme,simulation verification,and then carry out the physical test.The main work content is:1.First introduce the research background and significance of the front-end system of the millimeter wave receiver,as well as the research and development status at home and abroad.Then it analyzes the basic structure and main parameters of common receivers,as well as the basic structure and working principle of the phase-locked loop,and determines the basic architecture of each module of the receiver circuit according to the index analysis.2.According to the determined architecture,give the design plan of the entire millimeter wave receiver,and complete the structural design of the receiving link and frequency source module,and the selection of components of the corresponding circuit.Using Genesys software for link simulation,verify the feasibility of the design plan.3.For the unit module components to be used on the receiving link,use ADS software for design and simulation,tune and optimize the size parameters of the component model circuit,and import the designed unit module components into the PCB design drawing.4.Complete the circuit design of each module of the receiver system,use AD software to design and produce the PCB of the entire front-end system of the receiver,the final size of the receiver is 76.5mm*69mm,which achieves the goal of miniaturized design and is compatible with the entire hardware platform.Finally,a test platform is built to test and analyze the main performance indicators of the receiver system.The results show that the design of the frequency source module and the receiving circuit basically meet the requirements of the system indicators,and can realize the monitoring and receiving function of the millimeter wave band signal.
