As the development of the microwave technology and the high requirement in radars and the civil communication, the performance of microwave receiver has improved. How to improve the performance of the receiver and reduce the capacity of the receiver in the same time becomes more and more important. As the application of the superconductor, the problem has been saved. In this paper, some basic property of HTSC and recent development of HTSC technology is first introduced. Then the principle of components for the frond-end system of HTSC receiver is given. After that more attention is given on the design of the system. Finally the result and analyzing is given. In this paper, based on the nonlinear microwave nature of the HTSC, the front-end of the microwave receiver is made. The sensitivity and anti-jamming is tested. The system is composed of the HTSC filters, the low noise amplifiers working in the low temperature environment and the microwave switches. Some special technologies are introduced, such as zigzag line resonator for the filter and the feedback technology of the amplifier. The front-end system is tested in the temperature of 77K. The measurement indicates that the noise figure is better than0.8dB , the input VSWR is1.5, the gain is around22dB and the suppression is better than 60dB at frequencies 200MHz away from the pass band. The outcome of test tells that such receiver's performance on sensitivity and anti-jamming is improved.
