THIS IS FIGHTING ROBOTS shows the offline robot fighting competition in the online form,which is different from the previous variety shows.This program is very creative.It adopts professional fighting matches in terms of content and constructs the visual characteristics of technological variety shows in terms of form.With the development of network variety shows and artificial intelligence technology,THIS IS FIGHTING ROBOTS also keeps pace with the times.It visually displays the image symbols of scenes,props,stages and lights,and constructs rhetorical methods such as addition,suppression,substitution and interchange.This paper mainly studies the visual rhetoric methods existing in "fighting robots",stage,props,lighting,editing style and lens language.The perspectives studied in this paper are "rhetoric attributes","rhetoric functions",and "rhetorical evaluation".This paper analyzes the visual rhetoric features of the text from the following three aspects:the law of mutual transformation between language and visual image,the propagation law of picture and image,and the propagation law of syntext composed of symbols.Studies have found that the text has rhetorical techniques such as Lie Jin,repetition,silence,metaphor,metonymy,and inversion,which not only makes the theme of the program be positioned as competitive,but also makes the program spread the knowledge of science and technology while transmitting humanistic feelings.Different lens(clip)generated exemplifies the montage is used in the rhetoric of the len s language,which not only promotes the plot development of the program but also enha nces the visual effect of the program.The text also summarizes the enlightenment brought by the visual rhetoric effect of the program to the creator and the audience,and provides theoretical support and operational path for the development of similar variety shows.
