Research On Cost Estimation Improvement Of X Software Development Project Of HK Company

By using the method of literature research and case study,this paper analyzes the current situation and problems of the cost estimation method of the X software development project of HK company,and puts forward some suggestions.The main research contents include the following parts:Some common classical cost estimation methods such as COCOMO model,analogy estimation method,down to top estimation method and software scale measurement are studied,and the application characteristics of various estimation methods are analyzed.From the point of view of the project manager,this paper discusses the cost estimation method and process of the existing software development project of HK company,and analyzes the existing problems of the existing software estimation methods of HK company.Based on the estimation method and combining with the actual situation of HK company,a set of COCOMO-EFP model of software project cost estimation method which is suitable for small and medium enterprises is put forward.The method is based on COCOMO model,auxiliary function point method,combined with the actual situation of HK company to correct the software cost factors,and construct the cost estimation model of COCOMO-EFP software development project to meet the application requirements of HK company,and provide reference for the same type and the cost of software development items of the company.Finally,this paper uses a typical software development project of HK company to apply and evaluate the model,and compares the estimated results with the single use function point method and the single use COCOMO model estimation method.The comparison results show that the COCOMO-EFP model improves the shortage of the original software cost estimation method.It is a cost estimation model which can be used in the actual work and has high estimation precision.The application of this COCOMO-EFP model to the cost estimation of software development can play an active and effective role in the cost estimation,resource arrangement and project planning of the project.In conclusion,a cost estimation model of software development project based on function point and COCOMO model is proposed in this paper,and the initial value of the model parameters is given.The limitation of the single cost estimation method in the practical application is solved,and the functional point analysis method and the algorithm based estimation model are combined together.It provides a scientific,objective,relatively accurate and convenient estimation method for cost estimation of software development projects.
