| An evaluation of the development of cost on a software project is a key element to its success. Over-evaluation prevents software developers from a competitive advantage for bidding on projects .Meanwhile low evaluation values are likely to become incompatible with the cost required, deferring the progress and undermining the project development objective to a certain extent. An evaluation is the most important issue of cost management of software project. Therefore an impersonal, reliable and practical method of evaluation is prerequisite.This study introduces some evaluation methods. Especially it analyzes COCOMO (Constructive Cost Mode) method. Using COCOMO and Case-based Reasoning can improve the evaluation.CBR can really improve the evaluation by the case and change the situation of completely using experience to guess the cost. CBR really improves the cost evaluation veracity by an actual case in the company. Furthermore the company can get similar case information and experience. |
