Risk Amplification Mechanism Of Network Media

Since the implementation of the universal two-child policy,China's fertility rate is still showing a downward trend.China's natural population growth rate was only 3.81 percent in 2018,the lowest since records began,according to the national bureau of statistics.Among them,the phenomenon of declining fertility desire of young women of childbearing age has attracted wide attention.The new population not only directly affects the future labor force level and social security system,but also relates to a country's economic development and national prosperity.Based on the present status of female fertility intentions overall decline,rational choice theory and framework of social amplification of risk as the backing,the combined research methods of questionnaire and depth interview,risk for women by to breed intend to research the influence of factors that affect fertility intention further mining,and clarify the network media role in it.Based on 539 valid questionnaire and depth interview of qualitative data analysis,draw the conclusion: Internet media using enhanced women "feeling" to fertility risk,network media to use in the process of reproductive risk affect fertility intentions play a dual function of amplification and attenuation,but network media use limited direct effect on fertility intentions.
