After decades of development,China's telecommunications equipment manufacturing industry has formed a relatively complete industrial chain,and gradually become a pillar high-tech industry in China.With the deepening development of industrial internationalization and the continuous improvement of competitiveness,some Chinese enterprises play a central role in the global telecommunications equipment manufacturing industry and continue to climb to the high end of the global value chain(GVC).Among them,Huawei has not only realized its own leap in the process of foreign investment,but also contributed to enriching the strength of China's telecommunications equipment manufacturing industry.However,only a few enterprises in the industrial chain have succeeded in international operation,which is not enough to make the whole industry of our country grow evergreen in the international arena.Therefore,it is necessary to find out a suitable way for other enterprises to participate in international competition and upgrade by analyzing successful cases and drawing lessons from Huawei's way and path of embedding value chain.This paper collects many scholars' research on the theory of GVC and competitive advantage,uses normative analysis and qualitative analysis to deeply study the mechanism of value chain,the motivation of foreign investment and the decomposition of core competitiveness under the value chain,and explores Huawei's strategy of integrating into GVC and foreign investment.Firstly,this paper uses the value chain theory and the competitive advantage theory under the value chain to analyze China's telecommunication equipment manufacturing industry,depicts the global competition pattern,and analyses the source of the core competitiveness of enterprises.Secondly,collect data to summarize the development status,international motivation and strategy of the industry in China.Take Huawei as an example to trace the process and path of its internationalization operation of GVC.Combining with the company's business characteristics and the establishment of core competitiveness,as well as the advanced layout in 5G competition and the future 5G business promotion strategy,summarize its successful experience in internationalization.In the last part,according to the actual situation of Huawei and our country,we give some scientific and reasonable countermeasures and suggestions for embedding GVC in other enterprises of telecommunication equipmentmanufacturing industry and foreign investment strategy. |
