Since the 1980 s,mobile communication technology has developed steadily,and new media has quickly penetrated into the daily life of the public under this background.The growth of new media has not only created more meta-efficient communication channels for the advertising industry,but has also brought opportunities for the development of the advertising industry.It is foreseeable that the technological change of 5G(fifth-generation mobile communication technology)will provide greater development space for the future of new media advertising,but it will be difficult to avoid new challenges for new media advertising when the technology changes.In this environment,how should new media advertising be faced?This article will start with the concept and characteristics of 5G technology,and focus on the development direction of new media advertising by combining theoretical research and case studies.Firstly,through research on contemporary new media advertising,it is concluded that the current new media advertising can be divided into four categories:outdoor new media advertising,Internet new media advertising,mobile new media advertising,and mobile TV new media.Features:interactive,massive,integrated,entertaining,statistical,and ontological.Then it analyzes that 5G will bring new media advertising changes in three aspects:application lightweight,creative audience-oriented and taggable,and everything is a carrier.It also categorizes and discusses the opportunities that new media advertising faces in this era.And challenges,and finally based on the previous research,to infer the four major development trends of new media advertising in the future.And put forward three new methods and suggestions for the development of new media advertising in the future: "new-old collaboration","space-time combination" and "cultural harmony".In order to achieve the purpose of forecasting and theoretical guidance for the development of new media advertising.
