Research On Prediction Of Higher Adult Education Academic Credit Using Data Mining

After the implementation of the credit system in adult education in Yinchuan Energy Institute,although it has the advantages of flexibility and freedom,most of the adult students are in-service personnel,which led to heavy burden for them.Moreover,existing inevitable contradiction among working,learning and family life.and the learning time is not guaranteed.because of make-up examination time,academic record and warning information can't timely inform the students,which will cause many adult students delay some course's learning and make-up examination that they can't graduate on time.When some students delay the study of certain courses,it is necessary to start the early warning system through the early warning mechanism to ensure follow-up study.After analyzing the demand of Yinchuan Energy Institute,this paper has developed a school early warning system for the School of Continuing Education of Yinchuan Energy Institute,using Java language and JSP technology,supported by data mining technology.In the system,called the big data platform MySQL to analyze student information of database.Based on the analysis of association rules and clustering algorithms,the k-means clustering algorithm and Apriori association rule analysis algorithm are selected.And use these two algorithms in MySQL to mine student achievement and course data to find links between courses and students who need early warning.And the results entered into the system for teachers and counselors to view.The advantages of this research mainly in the following three aspects: firstly,the forewarning management system analysis and implementation of the Yinchuan Energy Institute of continuing education college students,curriculum and academic information,improve the teaching efficiency;secondly,technology to achieve the academic warning function through data mining,enhance the timeliness of the students' learning.To improve the efficiency and quality of students;in addition,the application of the system can also reduce the teachers,counselors teaching work pressure,focus on supervision of teachers to a related course of failing students schoolwork,and counselors can the students overall timely warning.
