Wireless remote meter reading is an automatic remote meter reading scheme based on wireless sensor network(WSN)technology.It can solve the problem of manual meter reading which requires a lot of manpower,easy to estimate meter reading and misread.While having the advantages of fast and accurate in wired remote meter reading system,it can avoid the disadvantage of requiring a lot of wiring in wired remote meter reading,and helps to promote the intelligent development of remote meter reading system,Therefore,it is of great significance to study the wireless remote meter reading system.This paper completed the overall framework design based on the functional requirements of proposed wireless remote meter reading system;then,improved the WSN resource allocation algorithm by using dynamic adaptive subcontracting and time-slot allocation strategy based on environment sensing;this paper designed and implemented the software of the whole system after the design and implementation of the hardware circuit;finally this paper evaluated the function of the proposed system;then assessed and compared the improved algorithm with original algorithm.The innovation of this paper is that it improved the existing WSN resource allocation algorithm,using dynamic adaptive subcontracting strategy based on environment sensing to improve time-slot utilization efficiency,and improved the reliability of transmission through dynamic time-slot allocation strategy based on probability model.The main research work of this paper is as follows:(1)Completed the requirement analysis and overall design of wireless remote meter reading system based on WSN resource allocation algorithm.According to the characteristics of wireless remote meter reading system,this paper studied the functional requirements of the system.On this basis,the overall framework design of the system and the improvement of WSN resource allocation algorithm are completed.(2)Completed the research and improvement of WSN resource allocation algorithm.This paper analyzed the implementation process of WSN resource allocation algorithm,studied the improvement of WSN resource allocation algorithm based on environment sensing,designed and implemented dynamic adaptive subcontracting strategy based on environment awareness to improve the efficiency of slot utilization,designed and implemented dynamic slot allocation strategy based on probability model to ensure the reliability of transmission,and carries out simulation implementation and analyzed the simulation results.(3)Completed the hardware design and implementation of wireless meter reading system.This part includes the hardware design and implementation of wireless collector and concentrator,and antenna matching of each wireless module of the system to achieve better wireless transmission performance.Then the system hardware is evaluated and analyzed,the result shows the system hardware has good low power performance,transmission reliability and stable operating temperature range.(4)Completed the software design,implementation of the wireless meter reading system.This paper built the embedded operating system based on Contiki system,and completed the software of each module of this system like wireless collector,concentrator,and relay.WSN resource allocation algorithm is realized based on the allocation of time-slot and network address.Then,the dynamic retransmit mechanism is established and optimized,which can improve the success ratio of retransmit.The air wake-up for LoRa is also realized to improve the real-time performance of control command.Finally,the paper evaluated the function of proposed system,then assessed and compared the proposed resource allocation algorithm with other algorithm.
