In recent years,with the rapid development of diversified communication technology,media and Internet,TV media,as a traditional media,has encountered unprecedented competitive pressure,and its development has fallen into a dilemma.The development of media convergence provides a new way of thinking for the development of TV media in content production,channel construction and industry integration.With the aim of further deepening the reform,focusing on the central task and serving the overall interests,optimizing the management as well as revitalizing traditional media,Chifeng Radio and Television station has carried out active reforms and explorations in achieving the great leepforward of the media convergence of TV media in the context of media integration.The overhaul of the channel and the development of new media matrix are the focus of Chifeng radio and television station in its development of media convergence On the basis of actively creating new media centers,Chifeng Radio and Television Station has built a new paradigm for the development of local TV media around “Smart Chifeng APP” supplemented with an offical website,official accounts on Weibo and Wechat and other multi-platform accounts that shapes up to be the “double We,one app and one web” model of the traditional TV media in the prefecture level city.Chifeng Mongolian TV is the only platform of Chifeng radio and television station to collect,edit,broadcast and produce TV programs in Mongolian.It broadcasts 30 minutes of programs every day.There are five columns covering news,social education,culture and sports.Chifeng Mongolian TV undertakes the task of political news reporting in Chifeng area,and it is also a platform and link for the party and government to communicate with the Mongolian audience,firmly grasping the correct political direction and adhering to the principle of being close to real life and to people In order to better meet the diversified needs for viewing experience and content of Mongolian audience,Chifeng Mongolian TV,under the background of the whole station reform and media convergence,actively explores and seeks development of media convergence,actively embraces the demand for media convergence development,diversifies the propaganda platform,and expands the scope and influence of Mongolian TV program content.This paper takes Chifeng radio and television as the research object,analyzes the current situation,integration mode and development form of the media convergence practice of Chifeng Mongolian TV since June 2016.After statistical analysis of the number of views with regard to convergence mode of five columns of Mongolian TV and the research conducted among the Mongolian audience in Chifeng City,the paper explores the current situation and influence of the development of the convergence of Mongolian TV media in Chifeng City,and puts forward suggestions for the existing problems.This paper consists of five parts: introduction,chapter 1,chapter 2,chapter 3,chapter 4,and conclusion.In the introduction part,it outlines the research object,the reason and significance of the topic,the research purpose and research methods.The first chapter expounds the theory of media convergence,the classification of media convergence,the Chifeng radio and television stations,and the development of media convergence practice.The second chapter describes the general situation of Mongolian TV programs in Chifeng Radio and TV Station,The second chapter describes the general situation of the Mongolian TV
