Distributed Source Coding(DSC)is a kind of information compression technology.The multiple correlated sources is independently coded at the encoder but jointly decoded at the decoder for the method of the distributed source coding which is different from the traditional source coding.Therefore,the complexity of the operation in the distributed source coding is transferred from the encoder to the decoder.At the same time,this method improves the system's effectiveness.Therefore,the distributed source coding is a technology with a high compression performance and a good decoding performance.It has a good application prospect in wireless sensor networks,camera arrays and hyperspectral image transmission.According to the distributed source coding theory,any channel coding technology can be applied to distributed source coding.In the traditional joint source-channel coding system,the channel codes are usually low density parity check codes(LDPC)and Turbo codes.As a new kind of channel code,when the length of the code is close to infinity,the polar code can reache the channel capacity.In this paper,we use the polar code to achieve distributed source coding.The main contents of this paper are as follows:1?Combined with the principle of distributed source coding,the joint source-channel coding algorithm and the algorithm of polar code in encoding and decoding,we construct and implement a distributed source coding algorithm based on polarization code.The simulation result shows that this method is reasonable and feasible in lossless image transmission.2?A new distributed joint CRC-aided Successive Cancellation Stack(CA-SCS)decoding algorithm is proposed.We take full advantage of the correlation between the source information and update the input of the joint decoder iteratively.This method can improve overall system performance.The simulation result shows that the new joint decoding algorithm which is proposed in this paper can improve the performance when the source information is highly related.In addition,compared with the simple joint decoding,the proposed decoding method with CRC in this paper has a significant improvement in the performance.
