With the rise of cross-border e-commerce platforms,it has become more convenient for people to purchase high-quality overseas goods.However,due to the long trading links of cross-border commodities and many uncertainties in the source of goods,user trust has become one of the important reasons hindering its development.Persuasive technology is often used in computer products to influence or change people's attitudes and behaviors.This paper attempts to find a solution to the crossborder e-commerce trust problem.The research starts from the influencing factors of user trust in cross-border ecommerce,and finds that after years of development,the usability of the e-commerce platform have reached a high level of user satisfaction.However,it is not enough to reduce users' concerns merely through having functionality and usability of the system when buying cross-border goods.Therefore,persuasive technology is introduced into the design of e-commerce.Through the analysis,the relationship between persuasion and trust is obtained: credibility is the premise of persuasion,and persuasion has certain moderating effect on trust.The psychological of trust can be achieved through the persuasive behavior.Based on this,this paper extracted the persuasion strategy from the existing e-commerce platform,and the prominent factors that affect the trust of cross-border e-commerce users.Through induction and deduction,a cross-border ecommerce trust design strategy based on persuasive technology is formed,which provides a theoretical basis for practical design.On this basis,the obtained method is applied to the design of the quality goods trust of Netease Kaola,and confirmed the feasibility and effectiveness.This study explores the positive role that persuasive technology can play in user trust by exploring the relationship between persuasion and trust.At the same time,it emphasizes the rhetorical ability of design in the process of persuasion and its value in the process of trust establishment.It provides new ideas for solving the problem of trust in cross-border e-commerce,and also inspires this type of design practice.
