In recent years,due to the rapid development of surface plasmon,it has been able to realize many components in the sub-wavelength range.It has been widely used in many fields,such as materials,optics,sensing,data storage and other fields.Surface plasmons include surface plasmon polarons and local surface plasmons,which extend from the initial visible light spectrum to microwave and terahertz fields.Spoof surface slasmon polaritons relys on high binding,low loss,etc.Unique characteristics have been widely used.In this paper,based on the theory of spoof surface slasmon polaritons,combining spoof surface slasmon polaritons and traditional leaky wave antenna,several leaky wave antennas based on spoof surface slasmon polaritons are designed.The main research contents are summarized as follows:(1)The thesis expounds the basic theory of spoof surface slasmon polaritons and its characteristics,and explore the efficient conversion with traditional waveguide.(2)A single-beam leaky wave antenna based on spoof surface slasmon polaritons is designed.The antenna can achieve 40°continuous beam scanning in 8GHz-12GHz,and the average gain is about 9dBi in the entire working bandwidth and remains flat.First,a dual-beam leaky wave antenna based on spoof surface slasmon polaritons is designed.The antenna radiates through wavy metal strips.In the frequency range of 8GHz-12GHz,the antenna can achieve a high gain of 8dBi of about37°continuous beam scanning.Based on the improvement of this antenna,a reflection plate is added to realize a single-beam leaky wave antenna.Processing and measuring the antenna shows that the measured performance is not much different from the simulation.Compared with the dual-beam leaky wave antenna,each frequency point the gain is increased by 1-1.5dBi.(3)Designed a double-sided periodic slotted single-beam leaky wave antenna based on spoof surface slasmon polaritons,which can achieve a scanning angle of 60°in the frequency range of 8.5GHz-10GHz.The gain is 11dBi on average.First,a single-side periodic modulation leaky wave antenna based on spoof surface slasmon polaritons is designed.The antenna can achieve 40°beam scanning in the frequency range of 7GHz-9GHz and the working frequency range.The average gain is 10dBi.Afterwards,on this basis,the improvement of the double-sided slotting period is carried out.The antenna can realize single beam radiation,and achieve 60°continuous beam scanning in the 1.5GHz bandwidth,and the maximum gain at each frequency point is improved by 1dBi compared to the one side periodic modulation antenna.On this basis,the relationship between modulation period and radiation angle is explored,and a simulation of a reconfigurable fixed beam antenna is realized.
