| As the demand for high-definition video services in different application fields grows exponentially,people's demand for large-bandwidth and higher-speed communication becomes imminent,and the existing wireless communication systems are difficult to meet the requirements of high-speed transmission of multimedia services.Therefore,a large number of scholars have begun to study terahertz bands.Using terahertz wave communication,the data transmission rate can reach 10 Gbps or higher,which can meet the increasing transmission rate requirements of high-definition video services.The terahertz wave is right to divide the range of far infrared rays,the main feature is that the path loss of the THz wave is serious,and it is easily absorbed by water molecules.Therefore,terahertz communication is suitable for high-speed transmission of short-range high-definition video services.For example,THz WPAN provides ultra-high-speed seamless connection for indoor HD video wireless devices.At present,the research on the terahertz wireless personal area network mainly focuses on the MAC protocol,and the research is mainly based on the IEEE 802.15.3c protocol.This article first introduces the research status of terahertz wireless communication and high-definition video transmission.It mainly describes the characteristics of terahertz waves and wireless communication scenarios,THz WPAN access protocol superframe structure,high-definition video transmission and high-speed serial interface related technologies provide the theoretical basis for the research and implementation of the high-definition video transmission system based on the MAC protocol of the terahertz wireless personal area network.Secondly,the relevant working principle of the high-definition video transmission system is deeply researched.Through research and actual testing,it is found that the data partition,the encapsulation of RTP payload and the ACK confirmation method cannot adapt to the time-varying wireless communication environment,resulting in problems of increased transmission overhead and reduced throughput.In order to solve the above problems,this paper proposes a channel adaptive and efficient transmission scheme,which includes three new mechanisms: NAL mode selection based on channel evaluation,adaptive encapsulation of RTP payload,and adaptive selection ACK mode.CAET can adapt to changes in the wireless environment,reduce overhead during video transmission and improve network throughput.Then,a high-definition video transmission system solution based on terahertz wireless personal area network MAC protocol is designed,which mainly includes terahertz communication simplified architecture design,hardware and software platform selection,server software design,MAC protocol design,client software design;Using the KC705 hardware platform and Linux operating system,a hardware and software solution for high-definition video transmission system based on terahertz wireless personal area network was implemented to test the basic functions of the system.By analyzing the data obtained from the test,the results show that the CAET scheme can effectively improve the network throughput and has better system stability.Finally,the work done in this paper is summarized,and the further research direction of high-definition video transmission over terahertz wireless personal area networks is elaborated. |
