Research On The Construction Of Open Catalogue Of Archives In China Based On Network Research

The opening forms of archives information resources have been enriched by the promotion of data resources sharing and opening,as well as the enhancement of the public consciousness towards the use of the information.Archives Open,known as one of the most considerable tools in terms of the utilization of archives information resources,should have more attention paid by Archives.With the increasing improvement of the extent of digitalization,online service of archives information resources directory is widely provided by all levels of archives in China.However,the quality of the construction is required to be improved.Based on the previous construction of open catalogue of archives achieved in United States,Britain and Japan,this paper starts with the current situation of open catalogue of archives on the official website of archives in China.Firstly,this paper categorizes Chinese archives into national,provincial,municipal,district and county levels,with data research carried out on each category respectively.In addition,based on the research data,this paper analyses the overall construction and deficiencies of the open catalogue of archives on the all levels of archive websites,then detailed descriptions and analysis of the open catalogue of archives of representative archives are provided.Among the analysis,the first historical archives of China(hereinafter referred to as the first historical archives)and the second historical archives of China(hereinafter referred to as the second historical archives)are selected as representations of national archives.Guizhou archives is selected as the provincial archives.Macao archives,Hong Kong archives and Shanghai archives are also included.Moreover,the investigation of municipal archives is carried out in five regions,including provincial city Jiangsu in the eastern region,provincial city Sichuan in the western region,city under the jurisdiction of Guangxi autonomous region in the southern region,provincial city of Hei Longjiang in the northern region and provincial city archives of Hunan in the central region.Furthermore,the archives of Minhang district,Huangpu district and Changsha county in Hunan province are selected as the representations of district and county level archives.Additionally,according to the results of the survey,the author summarizes and sorts out the common aspects of the problems in the construction of open directory of archives,and discusses the causes of the existing problems in the construction of opendirectory of archives in China from the perspectives of the construction standard,construction technology,construction talents,and archives institution.Finally,the causes of the problems mentioned above are summarized and the corresponding countermeasures are put forward.This paper holds that the construction standards should be unified in the construction norms of the open catalogue of archives.In terms of construction technology,relevant technologies should be improved,including optimizing the inquiry system of the open directory of archives,improving the retrieval function of the open directory of archives,and establishing the database of the open directory of archives;In the construction of personnel,effective training is required for the archives personnel team;In terms of archival institutions,the organization and management of archival institutions should be strengthened,including the enhancement of inter-library exchanges and cooperation,and an open directory sharing platform should be built for archives.
