The 5th Generation Mobile Networks(5G)is the generation of mobile communication,which is widely used in the scenarios of wide coverage,low delay and large connection.The test plans for 5G system are gradually increasing.5G is about to enter the era of full commercial use,which requires the provision of professional test equipment.At present,many advanced communication test equipment in the market are occupied by the international market,and the domestic test equipment has a single function,which has a certain gap with high-end test equipment,and the research and development of baseband system has technical difficulties,so it is particularly important to study a 5G terminal simulation device.This article relies on Chongqing's major special project "Development and Application of 5G User Equipment Simulators".It focuses on the synchronous scheme and detection algorithm of 5G cell search,designs a search scheme that meets the needs of the subject,designs and implements the hardware Field Programmable Gate Array(FPGA),and completes the simulation test and performance analysis.Aiming at 5G system,this thesis proposes a new block search synchronization scheme and studies the detection algorithm in the scheme.Under different signal-to-noise ratio and frequency offset conditions,the detection performance of three typical primary synchronization signal synchronization algorithms is compared and analyzed.Based on the secondary synchronization signal frequency domain detection algorithm,a low complexity polarity judgment algorithm is proposed.Based on the requirements of the subject and the performance of the system,a suitable synchronization algorithm is selected and applied to the proposed synchronization scheme,and the synchronization scheme is simulated and analyzed.The simulation results show that the improved synchronization algorithm and the proposed synchronization scheme meet the project requirements.Based on the research of detection algorithm and synchronization scheme,the FPGA design of the top-level whole module and each sub-module of cell search is carried out with the top-down design idea.Take full advantage of FPGA parallel and pipeline execution advantages to design and optimize the hardware implementation of synchronous signal detection.With the help of Vivado simulation platform,the functionof the cell search module is simulated.The simulation results show that the test results of the hardware implementation scheme designed in this thesis are consistent with MATLAB simulation results.Finally,the cell search module is applied to the 5G terminal simulator baseband board for joint debugging test.The relevant tests and verifications show that with the 100 MHz bandwidth of the 5G system,the cell search synchronization scheme proposed to this thesis occupies less than35% of the main resources,which has feasibility and rationality for project implementation and meets application requirements.
