Radar embedded communication uses radar backscatter as a hidden carrier,which has low probability of detection and low probability of intercept characteristics,which provides a new idea for the realization of covert communication.This technology has received extensive attention in recent years.Waveform design for radar embedded communication waveforms has also been proposed.There are three kinds of radar embedded communication EAW,WC and DP based on linear frequency modulation radar signals.This paper is aimed at the complexity of electromagnetic environment in the actual battlefield.For the different requirements of radar embedded communication reliability and covertness,an improved scheme for the covertness and reliability of existing communication waveforms is proposed.Aiming at the problem of waveform design using only a single non-dominant subspace in waveform design,a full-space waveform design method based on water-filling principle combined with dominant subspace and non-dominant subspace is proposed.After theoretical analysis and simulation verification,the scheme is proved.The main innovations of this paper are as follows:1.Aiming at the current situation that the covertness and reliability of waveform scheme for radar-embedded communicationare not ideal in the actual electromagnetic environment.We proposes shaped scheme which improves the covertness of the radar-embedded communication waveform.Then the SWC and SDP waveforms have been proposed.The direct spread spectrum sequence waveform DS is introduced,which can improve the reliability of the radar embedded communication waveform.2.Aiming at the influence of the size of the dominant subspace on the communication performance in the waveform design,the processing gain of the improved radar embedded communication waveform is theoretically deduced.The performance of the improved waveform is further confirmed by the detailed analysis of the gain.3.Aiming at the problem that the existing waveforms only use a single non-dominant subspace feature vector,the idea of water filling principle is utilized,the power distribution is performed according to the channel state,and a new combination of the dominant subspace is designed by using this principle.The full-featured spatial waveform of the non-dominant space—the water filling waveform,and the shaped waterfilling waveform SWF was designed by using the shaped idea.The parameters of the water filling shaped matrix were discussed and analyzed.
