With the voice over IP protocol-based voice transmission,the voice data stream of VoIP(Voice over Internet Protocol)is compressed and encoded,and a lot of redundant information provides a suitable choice for the embedding of secret information,which can hide the secret speech information,and further to achieve the purpose of confidential communication.This paper studies the voice information hiding techno logy for VoIP.The main work includes two parts.First,a method for hiding speech information based on random position selection and matrix encoding is proposed.In this method,the search interval of the closed-loop pitch period is controlled by secret information bits.At the same time,the random position selection method and matrix encoding strategy are combined to embed secret information in silent frames and active frames.Simulation experiments are performed on the two proposed speech information hiding algorithms,and the hiding algorithms are evaluated from four aspects: maximum hidden capacity,speech quality evaluation,frame processing time,and detection resistance.The experimental results show that the maximum hiding capacity of the speech information hiding method based on random position selection and matrix encoding reaches 100 bps and has good detection resista nce;the maximum hiding capacity of the pitch modulation information hiding method based on silent frames reaches 241.67 bps,and has good dense speech quality.
