The Design And Development Of Online Course Platform Of Southwest Normal University Press

With the gradual integration of traditional publishing industry and Internet technology,and under the stronger promotion on Convergence Media development of national policy,the traditional publishing cannot meet the demand of the society for contents obtaining and the digital contents service is becoming be the leader of modern publishing industry.From a long-term viewpoint,digital publishing integrated multiple media will become an important breakthrough of knowledge service and an important path leads to digital contents and service,as well as an important way to build a learning society.With the development of multimedia technology and network technology,readers tend to get publications in multiple dimensions.Due to the lack of content service platform in some traditional publishing houses and educational institutions,the needs of readers cannot be better meet.Therefore,Southwest Normal University Press began to build one online course platform system based on courses after full study,aimed to set up a contents service system which fits to the demand of modern publication and contents distribution,so that to meet the growing needs of authoritative content of readers and complete the process of changing readers to users by digital publishing and intelligent content recommendation.This project is an engineering development project.It mainly helps the publishing house to build a platform system for informational resources managing with curriculum as the course.Combined with the national "three reviews" system for official publications,it standardizes the examining process before the release of curriculum contents,realizes the function of multidimensional contents construction with bookcenter,trying to solve the problems of scattered contents and lack of knowledge service measure.When using the course service,users can choose courses of different institutions and different tutors according to their personalized needs.The course platform delivers the systematic contents service to users through personalized functions such as course guidance,course resources,course exchange,intelligent recommendation,etc.What's more,the project provides a completely different curriculum organization form and content dissemination mode,to guarantee the personalized content services.This project is based on Django framework of Python language and operated on browser.The front-end code takes HTML5 + CSS3 + Javascript + jQuery as the core framework,the back-end code takes Django's unique MTV design mode as the core framework,assisted by AJAX technology and server to complete part of the data exchange,make full use of the advantages of Python language in web development and intelligent recommendation algorithm.Based on the advantages of Django platform operation and maintenance plug-in Xadmin developed by Bootstrap,the background management system is developed,the MySQL database of Oracle is used to manage data,the massive storage,concurrent processing and dissemination capacity of the existing streaming media server of Southwest Normal University Press are fully utilized.It determines the storage pressure of large capacity multimedia materials,the pressure of concurrent processing and the pressure of course live broadcast.The project is developed in modular form,including six main functional modules: personal center module,course center module,course institution module,course tutor module,course audit module and background management module.I participated in the research,demonstration and planning of the early project,and mainly completed the background program design and code writing in the later stage.According to the project requirements,this paper collates the clear project requirements documents,describes the attributes of each element through the use case diagram of each module,describes the functional design of each module through the text description,summarizes the implementation process through the program code,and finally introduces the test work before the system deployment and online.At present,the course platform has preliminarily completed the test before go alive deployment and will be released for the whole society.The project integrates the existing content resources of Southwest Normal University Press,meets the users' demand for systematic and authoritative content,and greatly promotes the promotion of digital content and paper books of the press through the intelligent recommendation of courses.
