In today's world, the Internet has become the lifeblood and foundation of the country's operation and development, and the entire country, society, and individuals are increasingly dependent on the Internet. Many government departments, organizations, and enterprises are building and expanding their own networks, and fully sharing and using massive network resource information through the Internet. The status of the network is becoming more and more important, and it has become an important pillar of economic and social development. The various demands of network services have driven the rapid development of network technology, and the forms are becoming more and more diversified. At the same time, with the improvement of user demands, network services have increasingly higher requirements on network quality, especially in terms of bandwidth and robustness. The current network environment has gradually been unable to meet the diverse network needs of users. The multi-path transmission technology aims to study how to use multiple paths for data transmission between multi-homed terminals simultaneously,so as to achieve bandwidth aggregation, load balancing, dynamic switching, and automatically transfer services from the most congested and most interruptible path to the more Features on a good path.Compared with single-path transmission,multi-path parallel transmission can effectively solve the problem of inefficiency of single-path transmission in the existing network environment, and has the following advantages:(1)Improve the robustness of data transmission and enable resource switching and rapid fault recovery;(2)Aggregate bandwidth and improve throughput;(3)Have good load balancing capabilities. At present, due to the irreplaceable impact of computer networks on all walks of life, the stability and reliability of computer networks has become the basis and prerequisite for survival in most fields, and the performance of networks has become the most important indicator for evaluating the quality of a network.Existing research on network performance evaluation is mainly carried out on single-path transmission networks.Because multi-path transmission networks are not yet widely popular and have many advantages over single-path transmission networks, they can be more suitable for the current development needs of network services. Therefore, using appropriate means to analyze and evaluate the performance of multi-path transmission networks is an important issue that needs to be resolved. This paper takes the multi-path transmission live broadcast system as an example to evaluate the performance of the multi-path transmission network.First, for the network characteristics of multi-path transmission networks, based on the definition of network performance by ITU-T(International Internet Standardization Organization)and IETF(International Internet Engineering Task Force),according to the three principles of simplicity, testability and representativeness Corresponding evaluation indicators were extracted;then based on these indicators,a gray-associated network performance evaluation model for multi-path transmission networks, referred to as MPTCP-GANPEM(Multi-Path TCP Grey Associated Network Performance Evaluation Model),was proposed. The comprehensive performance of the multi-path transmission network is given a quantitative score;finally,by building a multi-path transmission live system, relying on the real network environment of the Nor Net international test bed,a variety of experimental scenarios are designed and the comprehensive performance of the network under different scenarios is designed using the evaluation model Analysis and evaluation, the experimental results show that:(1)The evaluation model MPTCP-GANPEM proposed in this paper can make an objective evaluation of the comprehensive performance of the multi-path transmission network;(2)In terms of the degree of impact on the comprehensive performance index of the multi-path transmission network, delay has the greatest impact on it,and delay jitter has the smallest effect;(3)Using the MPTCP-GANPEM,the comprehensive score of the network performance of the multi-path transmission live broadcast platform should be at least 73.82 to ensure smooth playback of live video.
