Internal circular saw is originally used for integrated semiconductor silicon chip,has advantages of small incision,small loss.Within the vertical internal circular saw of a new energy technology Co.,Ltd as the research object,the equipment exists the following problems after reconstruction for poly silicon cutting.1.When the internal circular saw is mechanically reformed,the original control system can not run automatically and can only be manually controlled which result in large quantity of artificial participation and low production efficiency.2.The original control system part of the interlocking function loses after the mechanically transformation of internal circular saw which is prone to misuse and unable to cope with the unexpected events in the production process.3.Given the age of Internal circular saw,there is no proper hardware to reform the old control system,therefore,some Internal circular saws have to be controlled by traditional relay system.According to the above problems,based on renovation of Internal circular saw,this paper designed a automatic control system composed by PLC controlled Internal circular saw,touch screen and intelligent instrument to reform the original manually controlled system,so as to reduce human intervention and improve efficiency.The system adopted double lock of hardware and software to improve safety of equipment.In cutting of silicon ingot,the swing of blade has the great influence on cutting quality of silicon ingot.Therefore,the new control system will adopt intelligent instruments to monitor the swing of blade,and accordingly use PLC control inverter and DC converter power to change the speed of cutter and X-axis DC motor,thus to adjust cutting speed,ensure power equality and extend service life of Internal circular saw?The experimental results showed that the new system improved efficiency andautomation of Internal circular saw,reduced the labor cost,meanwhile,it also solved the hardware compatibility and maintenance problem of original control system.
