Application Of Virtualization Technology In Disaster Recovery In Commercial Banks

With the digitalization of many industries,data has become critically important for the efficient operation of enterprises,and users' requirements for storage stability has become more and more demanding.Although many enterprises have highly stable storage devices,these devices cannot ensure data recovery from damage caused by natural disasters.The disaster recovery data center solution(active-passive mode)wins more favor from the industry as it can ensure data reliability and availability and protect local backup data from natural disasters.In such a condition,the geo-redundant solution comes into being.This article mainly studies the design of remote disaster recovery architecture based on IBM virtualization technology and storage remote replication technology.Firstly,the virtualization architecture based on IBM PowerVM technology is researched and designed,and then the remote data replication technology based on storage array is researched and designed.Then,on the basis of the general ledger business system of the bank,data backup is performed through the storage array asynchronous remote replication technology,and the application system is deployed in remote site through PowerVM virtualization technology to realize the disaster recovery data center solution.The bank's general ledger system data is effectively protected from disasters,and the storage snapshot technology is used to test the validity and consistency of backup data without affecting the production business.
