Research On Online Fans Community Of TFBOYS From The Perspetcive Of Interaction Ritual Chains

With the transformation of network technology and the emergence of idol fostering models,the relationship between idols and fans and the interaction within the fans communities have changed.Fans have changed from star-chasing to star-making.They have been involved in the process of fostering idols by witnessing and keeping them company instead of unilateral admiration.Fans actively use network media to build their online communities,bringing new interactive behaviors and characteristics within the communities.Based on the theory of Interaction Ritual Chains,this paper takes the online fans community of TFBOYS as the subject of case study to analyze its internal interaction stakeholders,process,consequences,characteristics,problems and optimization strategies through in-depth interviews and participation observation methods.This paper aims to provide reference and inspiration for other online interactive fans communities research.Through analysis,this paper found that the online fans community of TFBOYS has a complete interactive ritual chain.The fans build an online community for communication and interaction They use the terms of the fans commmunity and set the threshold of community to exclude outsiders.They take TFBOYS as the common focus and generate emotional resonance,achieving the group unity in internal interactions and realizing the accumulation of emotional energy.They form unique moral standards and unique community symbols.Secondly,combining with the interactive ritual chain,this paper discusses the interactive structure of online fans community of TFBOYS from three dimensions:emotional energies,symbols and rituals.It is found that the fans participate in the interaction under the impulse of developing the pride and sense of being needed of cultivating TFBOYS,who are high-quality and perfect idols.They are also motivated by the emotional energy of seeking their ideal selves.They strengthen the group identity and sense of belonging in symbol creation,exchange,circulation and defense.Ritual stratification leads to the differentiation of different levels and types of fans in the community interaction,and forms a unique division of labor and interactive behavior in the community.Finally,on this basis,this paper analyzes the problems of interaction existing in the online fans community of TFBOYS.It is found that some fans have excessive intimacy and control of idols and violate the private spheres of idols.They abuse symbols,occupy public information resources,and breed verbal violence.Under the result of ritual stratification,there are serious differences among the small groups within the community,effecting the interaction experience.The emotions of the fans are alienated by business logic.Based on the study,this paper proposes an interactive optimization strategy which is suitable for the online fans community of TFBOYS,in order to help the fans have better interactive experience in the fans communities.
