With the arrival of the "Internet +" era,traditional paper publishing has been further impacted.The transformation and upgrading of the publishing industry is imminent,and the development of cultural integration is imperative.In recent years,with the support of the national policy on the cultural industry and the innovative development of the publishing industry,book publishing is increasingly showing a trend of diversification,and the emerging calendar book is the product of the integrated development of book publishing and calendar culture.This creative calendar combines practical,cultural,and aesthetic functions.It can not only meet the personalized needs of readers,but also bring considerable economic benefits to publishing organizations.Thus,many publishing organizations have begun to lay out in the calendar book market.In 2012,the publication of the Palace Museum calendar started the boom of calendar book publishing.With the increasing number of topics and publishing organizations year by year,the scale of calendar book publishing is constantly expanding,and a new segmented book market has been formed.Due to the continuous entry of competitors in recent years,the calendar book market is facing a "shuffle",and only ingenious cultural fines can survive for a long time.Therefore,this paper takes the calendar book as the research object,by observing and analyzing the typical cases of calendar book publishing and the current market situation,it helps publishing organizations to indicate the future development direction of calendar book publishing.Publishing activities are considered by some scholars as a cultural phenomenon,mainly to discuss the nature,functions and development laws of publications and publishing work.Calendar book publishing is a new cultural landscape in recent years,which exactly conforms to the view of "cultural phenomenon" in publishing science.ased on the cultural phenomenon of calendar book publishing,this paper explores the development law of calendar book and its publishing work,in order to provide reference for the publishing business of calendar book publishing.The article is divided into four parts,which mainly adopts literature research method,data analysis method,case analysis method and comparative analysis method to conduct research.The first part starts with some large-scale document databases,consults relevant data and literature materials,sorts out the basic development overview of the calendar book,defines the relevant concepts ofthe calendar book and clarifies the origin and rise of the calendar book.In addition,this part analyses the current situation of the calendar book market from three aspects: the changes in the topic selections and the number of publishing organizations,the distribution of theme content,and the product pricing and sales.It helps to understand the development and evolution of the calendar publishing,and to lay a certain foundation for the study of the following problems.The second part starts from three important links-the concept construction of the calendar product development,content production and marketing strategy.Here conducts in-depth analysis of the related cases of calendar book publishing,trying to explore the development path of calendar book publishing,and discover the internal laws of calendar book publishing.The third part will make a comparative analysis of calendar book products on the market,and find the difficulties faced by the publishing institutions in the process of publishing calendar book,and point out the major problems in the publication of calendar book such as serious product homogeneity,frequent infringement,heavy product sales pressure and weak brand awareness.ased on the calendar book law of development and practical problems,and combined with the success of the calendar book publishing experience,the fourth part put forwards some related development suggestions,which include creating unique and original products,standardizing the market,strengthening the awareness of copyright protection,setting reasonable pricing,expanding marketing channels,and improving brand operation capability.These all have a certain practical value on the calendar business of publishers.Through the analysis of the cultural phenomenon of the "publishing fever" of calendar books,it is found that the readers' demand for book products is becoming more and more diversified,and the publishing market has shifted from a "seller market" to a "buyer market".Publishers must pay attention to the reader-centered calendar book development thinking,meet the different needs of more people,and provide better service and experience in order to maintain long-term competitiveness in the market.In addition,the emergence of a new book form,the cultural and creative calendar,also provides a new development idea for the upgrading of traditional book publishing.
