As a traditional medium with a long history,the newspaper has always played a key role in passing information and guiding public opinion in our society.However,with the deepening of China's market economy system reform and the advent of the Internet era,the newspaper has undergone profound changes.The emergence of a large number of emerging media has greatly changed the way people get information,and the leading role of the newspaper in information dissemination has been greatly shaken.China's newspaper industry has reached an age point of business and development.Under such a living environment,some of our country's slow-developing prefecture-level paper media not only missed the opportunity of active reform in the industry,but also ignored the impact of the age of the internet to the whole industry.They are difficult to survive in the era of change,and the situation of internal and foreign difficulties has become more and more intense over time.These prefecture-level paper media must be reformed to survive and develop.However,at the beginning of the reform,they not only have to face the conflict brought about by the internal system reform,but also face the great impact of the Internet age on the whole industry.Because of the lack of experience and the necessary time to cultivate,some of the group's reforms were rushed and blind,and it was easy to see that they only learned the practice of reform,but did not understand the essence behind these practices.In the modern enterprise system,a wide range of sales methods is credit sales,and a perfect commercial credit system is often needed in the back of a healthy credit sales environment.In fact,the commercial credit system of our country is not perfect,and many of the enterprise credit management consciousness is weak.Some groups abuse the credit of the commercial credit without control,resulting in the emergence and accumulation of a large amount of accounts receivable.As an asset through credit sales,the accounts receivable is not directly owned and controlled by the group,but forms a virtual asset.If that amount is large and not manage,the result is that although there is much revenue on the financial statements,but in essence it is likely to have an impact on the working capital of the group and to bring operational risk to the group.The N newspaper group is a typical traditional paper media that needs to face the transformation of the old system in the era of the Internet.Due to the lack of the consciousness and experience of the reform ofmodern enterprise system,the newspaper group has not made good credit management in the process of credit sales,and there are serious problems in the management of accounts receivable.At present,the N newspaper group has not set up an account receivable management department.The advertising department,the distribution department and the financial department are responsible for the management of the accounts receivable based on the completion of the job.It does not form a systematic accounts receivable management process.The work of accounts receivable is basically done by salesmen in the advertising department and the distribution department.The finance department only work on accounting treatment for accounts receivable.On the basis of qualitative analysis,the financial data of accounts receivable are analyzed quantitatively.From the absolute scale analysis of accounts receivable and the basic analysis of customer composition,to the comparative analysis between accounts receivable and current assets or total assets,or to the comparative analysis with operating income,and then to the accounts receivable turnover analysis and age analysis which reflect the actual management effect of accounts receivable,we can clearly see that the scale of accounts receivable is large and the quality is poor.A large number of accounts receivable not only affect the authenticity of the group's operating income data,but also have a great impact on the current assets and total assets of the group.In the future,it may lead to difficulties in the capital turnover of the whole group,resulting in the decline of the comprehensive competitive strength of the group year by year.Through a series of qualitative and quantitative studies,it can be found that N newspaper group does not have a complete and standardized accounts receivable management system,and there are some problems in the actual management.There is still a lack of credit management mechanism in the actual management.The payback cycle of accounts receivable is long and lack of accuracy.The establishment of accounts receivable is not clear,and the reconciliation and analysis of accounts receivable is not timely.The recovery and collection system is not perfect,and the disposal of bad debts is not perfect.To improve the current situation of accounts receivable management of N newspaper group,it is necessary to refine the original accounts receivable management of N newspaper group,supplement the unreasonable and irregular places,and then establish an independent credit management department of the group.The whole process management is implemented to form a relatively perfect account receivable management system.In the whole management process of group accounts receivable,the prior management shall be based on the "prevention",establish a perfect credit management system according to different customer types,and control the scale of the accounts receivable.The management in the course of accounts receivable shall be based on the "control".Strengthen the contract management of N newspaper group,improve the procedures for the establishment of accounts receivable of the group,and strengthen the checking,inventory and quality analysis of the accounts receivable of the group at the same time.The management after the event should be based on "supervision",so as to perfect the recovery and collection system of group accounts receivable,perfect the details of cancellation of accounts receivable and disposal of bad debts,carry out lifelong responsibility system for group salesmen,and strengthen cooperation and supervision among various departments within the group.
