Pulse power is developing towards waveform diversification and parameter limitation.Therefore,repetitive frequency pulse power has become a research focus.With the development of solid-state switching technology,solid-state pulse sources have become the mainstream solution for repetitive frequency pulse power.Traditional solid-state pulse sources obtain fast edge time and high repetition characteristics with the cost of economic.The output parameters of traditional solid-state pulse sources are usually fixed when the development is completed,which is difficult to meet the needs of many industrial applications.This thesis conducted this research and proposed an adjustable solid-state pulse source scheme and developed a nanosecond adjustable solid-state pulse power system.The main research and work of this thesis can be summarized as follows:(1)System structure and scheme designThe basic theory of pulse power and circuit methodology are analyzed,and considered the remote adjustable function,the structure and scheme of a nanosecond adjustable solid-state pulse source system are proposed.Through simulation analysis of the impact of LTD circuit design on the pulse output and the gordian technique analysis system's synchronous drive and control issues,the parameters and technical difficulties of the solid-state pulse source and high-precision control system were determined.(2)Developed fast-edge,high-repetition solid-state pulse powerBased on the LTD circuit principle and semiconductor power switch,fast edge and high repetition frequency of the solid-state pulse source are guaranteed through device selection and hardware circuit design.According to the pulse source superposition scheme,the development of a solid-state pulse power is completed through a modular structure.The maximum output pulse amplitude of the pulse power module is about 950V(?25 ? load),the output pulse edge time is about 40ns,the maximum repetition frequency is 500KHz,and the pulse width can be adjusted from nanosecond to microsecond.(3)Developed high-precision multi-channel synchronous control systemFPGA multi-channel synchronous control technology was the key technology to realize the adjustable solid-state pulse output.The control circuit,embedded software and software of the remote control terminal are designed,according to the remote control function and parameter requirements of the control system.A high-precision multi-channel control system was implemented with a driving signal rising edge time of about 1 ns,a maximum repetition frequency of 5 MHz,and a minimum pulse width of 5 ns.The system has good channel consistency and temperature drift.(4)Test analysis and optimization of the adjustable solid-state pulse source systemTesting and analysis of tunable solid-state pulse power systems were performed,which the maximum output voltage of the power module is 950V,the maximum current is about 10A(?25?load),the pulse edge time is about 40ns,and the maximum pulse repetition frequency is 500KHz.The pulse output amplitude,frequency and pulse width were controlled by a remote host computer.The pulse width of the load waveform is adjustable in nanoseconds at high repetition frequencies.As the repetition frequency decreases,the pulse width adjustable range gradually increases.Finally,the effect of capacitance on the output pulse waveform is studied and the system is optimized.
