Research On Chinese TV Slow Variety Program From The Perspective Of Media Ecology

In recent years,variety shows have occupied the major satellite TV and video websites in a "screen overlord" manner,in which the "fast variety show" shows with clear tasks,complicated rules of the game and exciting and tense plots occupy a large proportion in television,it has even become the subject of a national carnival.However,under the quickening rhythm of life,the "quick variety art",which is facing the tense rhythm and seeking the exciting visual and aural effect,gradually produces the aesthetic fatigue.Variety shows such as Running Man(Chinese TV series)and the Voice of China,which were once big hits,are showing signs of fatigue.Since 2017,the first season of Hunan satellite TV's "longing for life" started on January 8,it has been well received by the audience and gained good reputation.At present,the third season has also been successfully concluded.Since the broadcast of "longing for life",a series of slow variety shows,such as "Chinese restaurant","Dear Inn" and "beautiful house" on Hunan Satellite TV,have emerged with the slogan of "return to nature,return to life".After all,the slow variety shows enable modern audiences who are eager to relax and be free to enjoy the fun of watching with ease and comfort,and to gain different experiences of knowledge,culture and spirit.By using text analysis and comparative analysis,this paper makes a study on the Chinese TV variety show "longing for life","Dear Inn" and "Chinese restaurant" from the perspective of media ecology.The article is divided into five chapters.The first chapter defines the concept of slow variety show and the development of Chinese TV slow variety show.The second chapter focuses on the political,economic,cultural,industry and external ecological environment of Chinese TV variety show,showing the current environment of slow variety show.The third chapter analyzes the inner ecology of Chinese TV variety show from four aspects: program content,character landscape,visual landscape and audience's demand,to help readers understand the characteristics of current domestic slow variety show.The fourth chapter analyzes the ecological crisis of Chinese TV variety show,which is caused by the overlapping of ecological niche,the labeling of "slow" and the lack of originality.The last chapter puts forward the ecological optimization suggestion to the ecological crisis of the slow variety show in China,aiming at the hope that the slow variety show can radiate the new content vitality and form vitality,and get the healthy and sustainable development in China.
