With the diversification of wireless communication,the antenna,as an important part of the communication system,is required to have the characteristics of broadband,miniaturization,low cost,low profile,high gain,high efficiency and beam scanning.CTS antenna is one of the new antennas that can meet these requirements.CTS(Continuous Transverse Stub)antenna is a system of antennas designed like a waveguide slit antenna,With the deepening of the research on CTS,there have been a variety of CTS antennas with different structures.CTS antennas with different structures have different performance and can be applied to a variety of mobile communication systems with a wide range of application prospects.In this thesis,CTS parallel plate waveguide array antenna and its beam scanning function are studied.In this paper,the equivalent circuit of the CTS array antenna element of the traditional planar waveguide is firstly analyzed and studied,and the simulation model of the traditional CTS array antenna element is established in the high-frequency simulation software HFSS,and the influence of various parameters of the structure of the element on the antenna performance is simulated and analyzed.Then,on the basis of traditional CTS antenna unit,design a kind of new CTS antenna unit,the antenna point of innovation lies in the dielectric substrate surface copper,copper clad surface as the radiation patch,multilayer superposition of surface copper clad dielectric substrate on equivalent traditional CTS antenna aperture on the metal wall,and established a new CTS in high frequency simulation software HFSS simulation model of the antenna unit,the simulation analysis summarizes new CTS of array antenna unit structure parameters effect the performance of the antenna;And then to design the new CTS antenna array for the parabolic antenna feed box,through the analysis of 15 GHz new CTS antenna unit of each structure parameters and the relation of radiation energy,will determine the waveguide height and crack width as adjust the variables of radiation energy,design a ladder cracks,waveguide step two new CTS cross feed 8 unit array antenna,two kinds of antenna gain in15 GHz are 24.8 dB and 24.75 dB,respectively,has reached the design requirements,realized the high gain,high efficiency characteristics of CTS antenna;Finally,two schemes of beam scanning using CTS array antennas are proposed.Through modeling and simulation in HFSS,the simulation results are similar to the assumption.The two schemescan make CTS array antenna realize beam scanning function and meet the design requirements.
