Beam scanning antennas change the beam direction by changing the phase difference between the elements in the array with electrical signals.They are divided into two types:phased array antennas and frequency-scanning antennas.Compared with traditional mechanical beam scanning structures,the beam scanning antenna has high flexibility and scans.This paper combines scientific research projects to study frequency-scanning antennas and form phased arrays to achieve two-dimensional scanning.The main contents are as follows:1.Research on waveguide slot two-dimensional phase-frequency swept antenna array:Based on the theoretical analysis of waveguide slot antenna radiation principle,the design and processing are simulated according to the actual design index requirements.It verified the performance of a 16-slot waveguide slot traveling wave antenna phased array with 60 slots.The gain was greater than 32 dBi and the side lobe was less than-28 dB.The frequency sweep angle was greater than 10 deg and the phase sweep was ± 45 deg.2.Research on waveguide coupled feed microstrip frequency sweep antenna array:Aiming at the shortcomings of waveguide slot antennas that are often heavy,a waveguide microstrip hybrid feed one-dimensional frequency sweep antenna is designed,which is coupled to the waveguide antenna.The upper 16 * 40 unit microstrip radiation structure uses a microstrip radiation array to expand the radiation aperture to meet the required beam width and gain.The measured gain is greater than 27 dBi,which can reduce the weight of the traditional waveguide slit antenna array by 60%.More than%,achieve the array performance with frequency sweep angle greater than 7 ° and two-dimensional sidelobe less than-20 dB.3.Microstrip leaky-wave wide-angle two-dimensional phase-frequency sweep antenna design: In view of the limited frequency scanning angle of the waveguide slit array traveling wave array antenna,an array using a microstrip leak-wave antenna array as a phased unit is designed.Form,realizing two-dimensional large-angle beam scanning,using8*380mm long leaky microstrip lines as a phased unit array,achieving frequency scanning angle scanning from 17.5deg to 62.5deg,and phase scanning ± 45 deg.
