In this paper,the computer simulation technology is used to simulate the imaging characteristics of infrared search and track system under sky background.A credible and reliable simulation environment is built,which can render and output high fidelity infrared simulation images quickly and flexibly,and make up for the shortcomings that the acquisition of field test data is severely limited by weather conditions,time and cost.The simulation results can be used to study the target detection and track algorithm in the infrared search and track system,and can actively promote the improvement of the target detection and track algorithm.This paper focuses on the imaging simulation requirements of the infrared search and track system.The main research contents are as follows:(1)The composition of the infrared search and track system is analyzed,and the working process of each module is clarified.The working principle of the search and track process of the infrared search and track system is mainly studied.Then,several panoramic imaging modes of infrared search and track system are analyzed and compared,and the principle and working mechanism of image motion compensation based on reverse scan compensation panoramic imaging mode are deeply studied.(2)According to the mechanism of full-link imaging,an infrared scene model is established from missile target,sky background,atmospheric effect and imaging system.Then,based on the characteristics of infrared search and track system,models of interference elements such as clouds and birds are added to the scene.(3)The reason why the image is blurred due to the relative motion of the detector and the target during the rotation scan of the area array detector is analyzed,and then the degradation model of image blur is established.Based on the characteristics of the infrared search and track system to search and detect the target within360~?azimuth,a scanning model of the infrared search and track system for the air target is established.(4)Based on the OGRE rendering engine,complex simulation scenarios are constructed from three aspects:target,background and interference,and the fidelity of the simulation results is verified from two aspects:geometric scale and radiation characteristics.Then,according to the actual needs,the corresponding simulation conditions are set,and the two search modes of the infrared search and track system are combined to obtain the simulation images under different interference and mutation conditions.The analysis of the results shows that the simulation results obtained by the simulation method given in this paper can be effectively used in the research of target detection and track algorithms.
