With the rapid development of spaceflight technology,satellite networks have become a hot spot in the field of network research.Due to the unique location advantages of the satellite network platform,it has an irreplaceable role in earth observation,emergency communications,space monitoring and control,and the expansion of national strategic significance.At present,the main difficulties faced by the development of satellite networks include the limited on-board resources in satellite networks,complex satellite types,individual satellite construction,obvious segmentation,and weak system resource management capabilities.In recent years,the demand for user services has moved toward multi-type and big data,and higher requirements have been placed on the capabilities of satellite networks.Some satellites have limited resources that are difficult to load heavy services.Under this circumstance,how to realize the unified and efficient management of multi-type,distributed and diverse satellite network resources has important research significance.Virtualization is an effective way to solve resource management problems.Its essence is that physical resources and functional resources are abstracted into logical resources to eliminate the differences,isolation and dispersion between resource entities,and to achieve effective sharing and distribution of resources among individuals.It provides an effective way to achieve unified management of resources.Therefore,this paper introduces the related technologies of virtualization into the resource management problem of satellite networks,aiming at solving the heterogeneity of resource modeling,description and application,completely characterizing resources,eliminating resource semantic conflicts and realizing comprehensive resources,and achieving fully sharing of resources.This is also a prerequisite for providing good service to the task.In view of the related problems currently faced by satellite network resource management described above,this paper has done the following researches on this:(1)Firstly,the characteristics and composition of satellite communication system,characteristics of satellite network resources,satellite network virtualization resource management and some key technologies of virtualization are briefly introduced.This paper focuses on the current methods and models for satellite network resource management,and analyzes their shortcomings.This laid a solid theoretical foundation for the innovation of this paper.(2)Through the analysis of satellite resource objects and the application of virtualization technology in satellite network resource management,the satellite network resource management architecture is constructed.(3)Based on the research of satellite network resources and key technologies of virtualization in the first two chapters and combined with the satellite network resource management architecture,a task-oriented satellite network resource management model,called TRS model,is proposed.In this paper,the TRS model of resource management service process is modeled by abstracting and unifying the mission objectives and satellite network resources and the logical relationship between resources,tasks and services.Then the model is mathematically described and transformed into a multi-constraint condition to solve the target optimization problem.The model can solve the differences in resources modeling and description,and build complete resource definition and expression,and facilitate resource sharing and collaborative management.It is a prerequisite for the efficient sharing and orderly management of real information resources in satellite networks,and provides a new idea for future satellite network resource management.(4)According to the above-mentioned TRS model for satellite network resource management problem,this paper proposes a resource-oriented resource management method(TRMM)based on the model for the two typical tasks of meta-task and task decomposition.And introduces the concept of resource reconfiguration to increase the capability of resource aggregation in satellite networks.Then,two-dimensional resource inheritance relationship diagrams of time and space are analyzed to describe the spatial-temporal correlation of resource aggregation in typical scenarios.Finally,the simulation proves that the method can form an efficient solution that named resource aggregation flows for tasks with high demand capability.And the introduction of reconfigurability has also achieved good results in improving the aggregation capabilities of satellite network resources.
