The ultimate performance metrics of the fifth-generation mobile communication technology(5G)and the differentiated requirements of the three typical services bring new opportunities and challenges to the optical access network.Network slicing and edge cloud are enabling technologies for the optical access network architecture for 5G demand evolution.Under the premise of meeting the key performance indicators,how to design a unified resource management architecture for optical access network slicing and the rational arrangement of edge cloud resources is a key issue to realize optical access network slicing.This paper focuses on the above issues and conducts research.The main work and innovations are as follows:Firstly,in the face of differentiated service requirements and optical access network pressure under large bandwidth service scenarios,an access network slicing architecture based on separation of baseband processing functions is designed.Different separation methods have different requirements for delay and optical access network bandwidth.According to the traffic characteristics in different slicing scenarios,the baseband processing function is separated and the network slicing technology is combined to meet the differentiated bearer of the optical access network for different services.And ease the pressure of growing prequel networks.Secondly,aiming at the demand of ultra-low latency services,a 5G pre-transmission network splicing scheme with hierarchical edge cloud and corresponding joint network resource management(JNRM)algorithm are proposed,which performs computational unloading at the edge of the network and processes the partitioned baseband.The function is processed in a layered cloud to alleviate the pressure of the front-end network and provide computing and data storage capabilities for the service to meet the ultra-low latency requirements.The simulation results show that the proposed scheme and algorithm can allocate the shared network resources reasonably and meet the QoS requirements of different slices.Finally,combined with cloud native,soft definition,network function virtualization and other technologies,an experimental platform for slice network management based on edge cloud is designed and built.And completed the test analysis.The test results show that the platform can provide on-demand provisioning of infrastructure resources required for network slice instantiation and manage the complete life cycle of slices.
