User Activity Evaluation For Q&A Platform And Its Application

With the application of Web 2.0 technology and the combination of Q&A platforms and search engines,the number of Q&A in the Q&A platform is increasing,and the incentive for highly active users is getting more and more attention.However,the large increase in users has made identifying high-activity users increasingly difficult.At present,there are still a large number of users' questions that have not been answered in the Q&A platform.Therefore,it is possible to comprehensively identify users with high activity level,and identify users with low statistic but high activity level,including few questions,few answers,or low user ratings,quantify the user's activity value,and incentivize users according to the user's activity,which can improve the user's question and answer questions passion.At the same time,push unresolved questions to highly active users,which is not only helpful to solve user problems,but also enhances the user's experience of using the platform.For the above problems,we regard the questions and answers of users 'in the Q&A platform as a kind of social network behavior,and build a user relationship network based on these behaviors.On this basis,we propose a user activity ranking based on the user relationship network The algorithm is used to quantify the users activity.Experimental analysis based on Stack Overflow data shows that the user activity ranking obtained by the algorithm is consistent with the actual activity index ranking in the Q&A platform,and the user ranking is relatively stable.The Q&A platform can use the user's activity ranking to take corresponding incentives for high-activity users,and can also push questions to high-activity users,thereby speeding up the resolution of problems,satisfying users' timeliness requirements for knowledge acquisition,and enhancing users experience.In order to verify that the user activity assessment method is effective,we have developed the Q&A platform for college students using the Spring Boot framework,and applied the user activity assessment method to the platform.By calculating the user's activity,the participating users can be evaluated activity ranking,and further recommend questions based on user activity indicators.The platform also has functions such as user question and answer,user message notification,search,user ranking and question recommendation.Tests have shown that the Q&A platform for college students can identify the highly active users in addition to the basic functions of the Q&A platform.By pushing unanswered or few answers to highly active college student users,college students' questions can be better and faster resolution,can meet the timeliness requirements of college students for knowledge acquisition,and improve the user experience.
