Object deformation simulation technology is an important research direction:in the field of computer graphics.The key of object deformation simulation is to improve the accuracy of deformation model,improve the calculation efficiency of the deformation model,and maintain the stability of the model.Among several deformation simulation models,the mass spring model is highly preferred by the majority of relevant scholars due to its simple calculation,convenient modeling and high real-time performance.However,compared with other simulation models,the mass spring has problems such as low calculation accuracy and weak stability.To this end,this paper proposes an improved model based on the mass spring model,and simulates the deformation of the object with the PSO.First of all,the traditional mass spring model is analyzed in detail,we makes an improvement to overcome the "distortion" and "super elasticity" problem of the traditional mass spring mode.In order to improve the stability of the mass spring model,a new spring structure "limited spring" is proposed to optimize the traditional mass spring model.The limited spring is different from the structure of the traditional mass spring model,for it does not directly participate in the mechanical calculation.Instead,the limited spring restricts the length change between the two mass points at both ends of the spring.There are two advantages of this practice:1).reduces the time cost of the system,2).ensures the stability of the mass spring model.The experimental results show that the limited spring can effectively overcome the phenomenon of superelastic distortion of mass spring model,and simultaneously improve the real-time.Secondly,this paper studies and analyzes the problem that the deformation accuracy of the traditional mass spring model is lower than in other deformation models.The spring parameters of the traditional mass spring model are often set by the researcher's experience,there will be errors with the deformation data under the real environment,resulting in insufficient accuracy of the mass spring model.In order to improve the accuracy of the model as much as possible and provide a theoretical basis for the parameter setting of the limited spring proposed in this paper,the finite element model and PSO are applied in this paper to make an estimation on proposed limited spring parameters.Compared with the experimental results,this method can effectively improve the accuracy of the mass spring model and increase the reality of the simulation.Meanwhile the deformation of multi-material objects is studied and simulated based on it.Finally,this paper uses Windows system,C++language and OpenGL library on vs2015 platform to design and develop different material deformation simulation system.The method in this paper can effectively simulate the deformation simulation effect of different materials based on the mass spring model,and the experimental results show that the deformation process of the object conforms to the physical laws,while deformation is stable and the reality is improved with the requirement of real-time being met.
