With the acceleration of urbanization,the competition among cities is becoming increasingly fierce.As the soft power of competition between cities,city image has also been paid more and more attention by city managers.Because of the their video with local characteristics in the Tik Tok,Chengdu,Chongqing,xi'an those cities in the central and western area of China got more and more popular in 2018 and 2019.Those videos promoted the development of the local tourism industry,increasing the economic income,more to increase the heft of the cities,changing the original images of those cities to a certain extent at the same time.Compared with these three popular cities among Tik Tok,Trapped in old city stereotypes,Nanchang is facing the same dilemma as those three cities before their transformation,that is,also been located in central and western China,having relatively inconvenient external transportation.Therefore,the purpose of this paper is to explore the city image of Nanchang in Tik Tok,finding out the factors restricting the communication of the city image of Nanchang,and to draw lessons from the successful experience of three popular cities in Tik Tok and to put forward suggestions for the communication of the city image of Nanchang finally.In this paper,I pick up various types of Tik Tok account(eg.government institutions,the traditional media,the enterprise)as the breakthrough point,focusing on exploring the city image of Nanchang in different types of Tik Tok account,to analyse the problems appeared in the process of city image communication,and to provide some advice in the end.The first chapter of this paper is the introduction.The introduction part sorts out the literature on the study of urban image,including the research status of urban image internal and abroad,puting forward the theoretical and practical significance of the research.In addition,according to the analysis of the research status,the research method is clarified.The second chapter lists the relationship between city image communication and Tik Tok transmission,discussing the connotation of city image communication,analyzing the characteristics of Tik Tok video and its advantages in city image communication.Chapter three and chapter four take samples as examples to summarize the characteristics of different types of Tik Tok accounts in Nanchang in terms of the content and theme of communication,and on this basis,analyzing the problems of those Tik Tok accounts in the communication of city image.The fifth chapter is the analysis of xi 'an and other popular cities among Tik Tok,drawing on its advantages.Given the problems in the progress of communication of Nanchang,I provides Suggestions for the communication of the city image of Nanchang in the end.
