As an important ground-based ionospheric detection equipment,incoherent scatter radar(ISR)has many advantages,such as many detection parameters and wide detection range.However,because of its high construction and operation costs.It is necessary to develop a simulation system which is the same as ISR in order to solve this obstacle.Based on the detection principle and key technology of ISR,a simulation platform of ISR system is developed using modular design idea and MATLAB software platform.It has the application value of providing optimal parameters for the construction of ISR and fast test of detection results after the completion of radar.It can use the signal simulation module in the system to complete the simulation of signal waveform with different coding,and can complete the research of new composite coding.The main work of this paper is as follows:Firstly,the development of ISR and its key technologies is introduced.The theory of electromagnetic scattering and the theory of ambiguity function for incoherent detection are introduced in detail.The relationship between plasma scattering spectrum and scattering signal power spectrum is explained.Secondly,according to the requirement analysis of the simulation system,the design scheme of the simulation system is determined.Complete the model establishment and result validation of each module.Focus on improving the calculation method of scatter spectrum,so that the parameter inversion accuracy is higher.Thirdly,the range resolution and anti-noise performance of different codes are explored by using the signal simulation module in the simulation system,and the applicable detection targets of corresponding codes are analyzed and discussed.Completed the simulation work of composite coding with complementary code modulation alternating code,and obtained a composite coding with excellent distance resolution and anti-noise performance. |
