Online video courses,especially MOOCs have already become the mainstream learning method in the era of “Internet Plus”,among its many expression styles,Khan-Style video has been proved to be effective through research,but it can't replace PPT-Animation-Style video,which holds dominant position in China.In the meanwhile,as one of the main methods of online video courses research,eye movement experiment still has the problem that the division of the AOI(area of interest)is relatively rough,so that it's unable to accurately define learners' eye movements.As mentioned above,this paper sets the mainstream PPT-Animation-Style online video courses and the Khan-Style online video courses,which is under the “Qing MOOC” platform developed by author's laboratory,as the research subject,and establishes the Voice-centric model,to implement the dynamic AOI and multi-granularity of eye movement experiment.Then designs and develops the eye movement experiment system with the model,to apply the Voice-centric model into practice.After completing the preparatory work above,this paper designs comparative experiments for declarative knowledge and procedural knowledge,to study the differences of learning effects and learning process while learners learning PPT-Animation-Style video or learning Khan-Style video,and finally draws the conclusions: In terms of learning effects,learners have a greater cognitive load while learning Khan-Style video of procedural knowledge,but learning satisfaction and migration learning effects are both higher while learning Khan-Style video of declarative knowledge and procedural knowledge;And in terms of learning process,from the perspective of the whole video,the proportion of learners' eye movements in line with standard eye movements,which is defined by Voice-centric model,is much higher while learners learning Khan-Style video of declarative knowledge and procedural knowledge,that means the higher concentration of leaners' attention,and this conclusion is also obtained of pure-image-type video fragments and graphic-fusion-type video fragments,but there is no significant difference for pure-text-type video fragments.At last,this paper comes to the conclusion that compared with the PPT-Animation-Style online video courses with the same teaching content,Khan-Style online video courses use the electronic board function,such as track pointer,board handwriting,free zoom and so on,can help leaners improve the learning process and learning effects.At last,this paper analyzes the application potential of the Voice-centric model,and forecasts the future research that may continue on the basis of this research.
