With the continuous development of China's Beidou Navigation Satellite System(BDS),its application in the field of civil aviation is inevitable.Therefore,the application of BDS in the field of civil aviation must meet the requirements of the corresponding technical standards.The Radio Technical Commission for Aeronautics(RTCA)released the minimum operational performance of airborne navigation equipment using GPS navigation sources,including the horizontal positioning accuracy of the aircraft under flight test and the receiver's autonomous integrity monitoring.Based on the technical standard specification promulgated by the United States,this paper proposes Beidou's Minimum Operational Performance Standards(MOPS)test scheme in combination with China's Beidou satellite navigation system.Firstly,the wide application of the Global Navigation Satellite System(GNSS)in the field of civil aviation,and the gradual change of the navigation method from traditional navigation to performance-based navigation.The BDS is elaborated in detail in terms of BDS system composition,satellite position solution,and Beidou navigation system positioning principle and positioning performance indicators.According to the flight test requirements stipulated in the DO-208 document issued by the United States RTCA,the flight test procedures required for researching the Beidou MOPS is designed,including the climb,descent,and level acceleration of the aircraft.Secondly,the Beidou satellite constellation was simulated,and the coverage performance of Beidou was analyzed in the mainland China,Asia-Pacific region and global test sites.Then the three-dimensional positioning errors of the aircraft under different acceleration conditions on different routes was simulated and analyzed,and the analysis results show that the horizontal positioning accuracy of the aircraft meets the requirements under different acceleration conditions.According to the civil aviation safety requirements and the navigation performance requirements of civil aviation,the horizontal protection limits of different routes are calculated through simulation to realize the pre-judgment of the route RAIM usability.Finally,a Beidou MOPS test platform was built based on satellite simulation software(STK)and MATLAB integration.The platform integrates the analysis of satellite visibility,satellite coverage,flight path generation,flight location error,and RAIM availability.
