Research And Realization Of Mobile Enterprise Workflow Management System

As mobile networks continue to mature,as well as the popularity of mobile devices,office mode has also a great change.Employee is not limited to fixed office space and using a PC or laptop.More and more employees started to use mobile devices for daily work.Therefore,the mobile development of traditional enterprise application became direction of enterprise information strategy.Workflow system as a member of enterprise applications,became the main work for the mobile development.This paper will analyze the status of mobile enterprise applications and find the problems in the mobile development for domestic and international enterprise application.This paper will alos analyse the characteristics of mobile networks and mobile devices.Then,base on these problems and characteristics,I will raise my own opinions and technical solutions,and these technical solutions will be used in this mobile workflow system.First of all,this paper still uses a browser-based Web applications and Java language to develop the system to reduce development and maintenance costs.Therefore,this paper will use the Activiti5 workflow engine based on Java language as a basis for system.In order to adapt to the PC side and the different screen sizes on mobile devices,system will use responsive design,so that we do not need to maintain codes for each device.Paper will use the RESTFUL style of software architecture.Therefore,stateless and platform-independent of the REST can reduce the coupling of server and client,improves the flexibility and scalability of the system.REST support for caching,also greatly increased the response data and reduces the use of bandwidth.Because of mobile network bandwidth and uncertainty,I will use AJAX for data interactions between frontend and backend and to partial refresh of the page.This can reduce bandwidth usage and reduce risk of instability to the system Finally,this paper will test the workflow system on availability,security,scalability,and mobile device,to verify whether the solutions adopted by solved the problems in mobile development.This paper hopes this workflow system can be a reference for other enterprise applications which are in the process of mobile development,hopes that other enterprise applications can learn from the ideas,better achieve and use for itself.
