With the development of Internet technology,intelligent applications have changed the traditional way of life and work.Information generation and consumption speed is accelerating.Smart campus is to achieve the process from data collection,automated processing to intelligent output.Information flowability and effectiveness are the basic principles of the architecture of Smart Campus,embodied in three aspects,intelligent perception,information aggregation,and comprehensive information processing platform for the majority.Mobile devices have become the main means for people to obtain information,challenging the existing Web development patterns.Building a network application system with good performance,strong scalability and easy to maintain,is the main goal of this paper.Firstly,this paper describes the five-layer structure of smart campus,functionally splits the complex system and focuses on the realization of service layer.And then puts forward the popular Web Services solutions at present,compares the similarities and differences of service-oriented architecture(SOA)and RESTful architectures,introduces the detail of RESTful API design style and highlights the simplicity and expressiveness of RESTful as mobile development.After the introduction of the theory,it takes smart teaching as an example,developing a system that in use.The system adopts MVC model,based on RESTful,combined with Spring,Spring MVC,My Batis and other popular frameworks and divided into different roles as student,teacher,and administrator.It uses lightweight,simple and fast developing way,has strong extensibility,and verifies the conclusion of the theory.
