Research On Dual Band Dual Polarization And Single Pulse Radial Line Slot Antenna

With the continuous development of satellite,radar and other wireless systems in recent years,more and more high requirements are put forward for antenna design.In the antenna design of modern systems,not only the performance of the antenna should be guaranteed,but also the functionality of the antenna should be expanded.If the antenna has functions such as dual-frequency dual-polarization and single-pulse under the condition of performance indexes such as gain efficiency,the application range of the antenna will be greatly expanded to meet the requirements of various systems.Radial Line Slot Antenna(Radial Line Slot Antenna,RLSA)is a kind of planar Slot Antenna array,the first time since the 1980 s was used as a Ku band satellite Antenna,because of its high gain,low loss,low profile,the advantages of simple structure in the next 20 years is widely used in all kinds of wireless system.At present,most of the research on RLSA focuses on the improvement of its performance,but the requirements of modern systems on the antenna are not limited to this.Based on the traditional radial line slot antenna,the modification of the antenna structure to make it have dual-frequency dual-polarization,single-pulse and other functions is of far-reaching significance for the application of the wide range of RLSA.Firstly,the research background and domestic and foreign development process of RLSA are introduced,which lays a good foundation for broadening the application range of RLSA.Then in the annular configuration of the Radial Line Slot Antenna(Concentric Array Radial Line Slot Antenna,CA-RLSA)theory,on the basis of combined with continuous spinning technique,designed a total diameter double frequency double circular polarized RLSA below.Then it is applied to the spherical aperture,and a spherical aperture dual-frequency dual-circular polarization RLSA is designed.Finally,the composite application of spherical aperture dual-frequency dual-circular polarization RLSA is verified,and the simulation results show that dual-frequency dual-circular polarization RLSA is feasible for composite application.Finally,the limitation of RLSA is analyzed and the problem is solved by designing modular distributed RLSA.The RLSA module unit with the aspect ratio of 1:1 is designed,and the rectangular aperture RLSA with the aspect ratio of 2:1 and 4:1 is designed through the modular array.Simulation results show that RLSA with two rectangular diameters has good radiation performance.
