In recent years,with the vigorous development of the satellite communication systems,radar systems,wireless local area network(LAN)and various kinds of millimeter-wave systems,more and more requirements are put forward to the high gain antenna.In the design of the antenna,in addition to meet the requirements in terms of the gain and bandwidth,but also the antenna manufacturing cost,the radiation efficiency,dual band,dual polarization and other aspects need to have a breakthrough to meet the needs of the electronic system miniaturization,duplex transceiver,frequency reuse and other aspects of the request.The radial line slot antenna(RLSA)has the advantages of compact structure,easy realization of good gain,low loss and high efficiency.Therefore,it has been widely used to receive the satellite signals at 12 GHz from the 80 s of last century.In the past twenty years,the researchers have made a lot of improvements in its structure,which makes its performance more excellent and its application scope is wider and wider.How to realize the research and design of dual frequency and dual polarization on the basis of the traditional RLSA,improve the performance and structure of the antenna,expand its application field has far-reaching significance.To sum up,the main content of this paper is:First of all,elaborated the process and research status at home and abroad on the RLSA,analyzed different waveguide field mode and the feed network,detailed introduces the design method of spiral slot arrangement and circular slot arrangement.And then the key technologies to realize uniform aperture in high gain and non-uniform aperture field in low sidelobe are presented.Then,performing some innovation on the structure and the feed of single layer RLSA,this thesis design a dual circularly-polarized RLSA.A prototype of dual circularly-polarized RLSA is manufactured and tested.Good accordance is obtained between simulated and measured results,which reach to the expected target.A non-dielectric filled RLSA is proposed base on equal power division principle.The feasibility and validity of the antenna is validated by of an example designedAt last,this thesis proposes a dual band and dual circular-polarized RLSA operated at Ku band on the basis of dual circular-polarized RLSA.The bandwidth isbroadened by the double slits structure and the matching of the ring gap.Then a feed network with wideband is used to feed it The simulation results show that the antenna has good radiation performance and axial ratio performance in two bandwidth range...
